Violinists MingHuan Xu (Roosevelt University CCPA) and Matt Albert (Univ. of Michigan), violist Doyle Armbrust (founding violist of Spektral) and cellist Nick Photinos present Black Angels, featuring George Crumb’s iconic and eponymous work, among the 20th century’s most famous chamber works. We’ll also be joined by CM@B favorite, Keanon Kyles, baritone, (Roosevelt University CCPA, The Matchbox Magic Flute) and Yasuko Oura, piano on our final concert of the series. Reception to follow.
