About The Artists

Violist Aurelien Pederzoli, a graduate of the Paris Conservatory, is a past member of the Grammy Nominated Spektral Quartet, and performs with the Black Oak Ensemble with Desiree Ruhstrat and David Cunliffe from the Lincoln trio.

Violinist Dmitri Pogorelov is the first violinist of the Kontras String Quartet, and has appeared around the world as a soloist, chamber musician, educator and orchestra leader.

Violinist Yvonne Lam, a member of the multi-Grammy-Award-winning chamber ensemble Eighth Blackbird, has captivated audiences worldwide with her intelligent musicianship and boundary-pushing performance aesthetic.

Cellist Paul Dwyer brings to life everything from early music on baroque cello to brand new works by young composers. He is Assistant Principal Cellist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and a founding member of Diderot String Quartet and ACRONYM.

Cory Tiffin is the principal clarinetist of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and has appeared with numerous other orchestras throughout the country. As the founding member of the Chicago-based Anaphora Ensemble, Tiffin curated, commissioned and performed a diverse array of works from classical to contemporary to performance art.

Tim Munro is a Chicago-based, triple-Grammy-winning musician. His diverse work as a flutist, speaker, writer and teacher is united by a single goal: to draw audiences into an engrossing and whimsical musical world.
