Chamber Music at Bethany presents Simple Lines: Music of Marc Mellits and Bill Ryan
Join us for CM@B’s 2023-2024 season opener, Simple Lines: Music of Marc Mellits and Bill Ryan, featuring the stunning clarinetist Andy Hudson and Nick Photinos, cellist and co-Artistic Director of CM@B. This in-person event will take place on Saturday, December 2, 2023 (not Sunday 12/3!!) at 2pm at Bethany United Church of Christ, 4250 N. Paulina St., Chicago, IL 60613.
This concert comes directly to you from Bucharest, Romania, where it was presented in May 2023 by Andy and Nick. Marc and Bill’s music runs the gamut from beautiful, tender melody to hard-hitting, driving rhythm. The concert will also feature the US premiere of Bill Ryan’s Breath, and both Marc Mellits and Bill Ryan will be at the event. The concert will end with Svante Henryson’s virtuosic and fun Suite Off-Pist.
